Tag Agent is based phenyl pyrazole insecticide which is very effective for controlling the insects against various crops. Fipronil has two in one action: it not only controls insect pests effectively but it also shows plant growth enhancement effects such as enhanced root growth, more number of productive tillers etc., which results in higher yields.

Controls
It controls stem borer, brown plant hopper, green leaf hopper, rice leaf folder, gall midge, white blacked plant hopper and whorl maggot of rice and early shoot borer and root borer of sugarcane.
Time of Application
Rice: between 25 to 30 days after transplanting. Sugarcane : For earlier shoot borer foliar application at 35 days after planting (DAP) and root borer drenching of salts and soil at planting.

Application Method
Recommended dosage for granule should be broadcasted using operated granule applicator or mechanical dispenser in paddy, 2-3 cm standing water should be in the field and keep water impounded 2-3 days after application
