Description:

Tag Axe contains pinoxaden 5.1 % as active ingredient. It is a post-emergent selective grass weed herbicide. Tag Axe is a post-emergent systemic herbicide of the phenylpyrazole group, which effectively controls a broad spectrum of grass weeds in wheat. It has built-in adjuvant for faster absorption in weeds. It offers excellent control of phalaris minor and avena sp. Only. It is absorbed by leaves within 60 minutes – rain fastness. It is recommended for the control of important grass weeds like phalaris minor and avena ludoviciana

Time of Application

Apply as post emergence spray at 30-35 days after wheat sowing or when Phalaris minor and Avena ludoviciana is of 3-5 leaf stage.

Application Method

The herbicide is recommended to be applied using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat fan or a deflector nozzle 08 White (DFN 08), maintaining a constant nozzle height of 0.35 m which results in a wide angle fan spray with a narrow rectangular spray pattern. Apply the herbicide with the recommended quantity of water to ensure thorough coverage of the weed foliage.
