Description:

Dezire is a herbicide containing Metribuzin 70% WP as active ingredient. Dezire is a selective triazinone herbicide which inhibits photosynthesis. Dezire is used for control of annual grasses and numerous broadleaf weeds in field and vegetable crops, in turfgrass, and on fallow lands

Crops

Soyabean, Wheat, Sugarcane, Potato, and Tomato.

Controls

Trianthema monogyna, Digera arvensis, Echinocloa, Eleusine sp., Xanthium strumonium Brachiaria Sp., Digitaria sp., Amarnthus viridies, Cleome viscosa, Polygonum sp. of Maize & Bajra, Proulaca oleracea, Tribulus terrestris of Sugarcane, Spergula arvensis, Chenopodium album of Potato.

Time of Application

Sugarcane : post emergence 25-30 days after planting or pre emergence at first wapsa condition (or) 3-5 days after planting., Potato : pre emergence 3-4 days after planting (or) post emergence between emergence and time when the first potato plants have reached height of 5 cms., Tomato : pre-planting a week before a transplanting (or) post-planting 15 days after transplanting., Soyabean : Pre-emergence 1-2 days after sowing., Wheat : post emergence 35 days after sowing of crop.

Dose/Acre

200-400 gm/Acre. (Doses may vary according to crop)

Application Method

Only one application either as pre-emergence or as post-emergence should be made compatibility. For pre-emergence application : ensure that the field do not have clods and curbbles, after spraying dezire , do not disturb the soil. For pre and post emergence application : Avoid drift of spray into adjoining crops, the recommended time of application and does should be observed. Dezire should be sprayed with flood jet/flat fan nozzles without overlapping spray swaths.

Precautions

Avoid overlapping during application.
